This reminds me why I can’t be arsed about the striker we sign and want a wide forward prioritized instead.
Market is fucking dead. Anyone proven is out of reach. What’s annoying is that because it’s such a high demand position, even the unproven strikers that are available will require a significant investment to bring which makes it an even bigger risk.
I’m wondering if we’re savvy enough, we could buy Sesko outright, have him continue in the BuLi or other league for long term gain and securing an asset. And also buy Gyokeres for the short term?
Gyökeres is 26, it should be one or the other.
I don’t think that’s a wise use of assets tbh and I don’t think Sesko would agree to it either.

hah .. that is a gift by the GK… yeah it was nice opportunistic kick, and sometimes you mess those up, but yeah.. that is more about defense and GK being shambolic.
god the level of strikers right now is terrible!
why are we impressed with this goal? The goalkeeper left his post. The defender ‘chasing’ him looks like he’s had too many, was so slow.
I’d be appalled if he failed to score from there. Net was wide open.

Because he took it with the outside of his right foot, rather than with his left.
That’s what made it a good goal
