Lads, only @The_Invincibles thought it was a cracker and we know he’s Sesko’s #1 fan in here.
Main takeaway from that goal is how bloody quick the lad is considering his size.

I’d genuinely be disappointed in myself if I didn’t score there.
It was a simple finish but it is probably the speed which most people are impressed by. He’s a big guy and he covered a lot of ground very quickly which I probably didn’t think he had in him
I don’t want to be a hater here but Sesko was fresh off the bench and outpaced Tarkowsky, a CB who had already played like 80mins.
His pass to start the counter attack was more impressive than anything else.
For the record, I was simply praising Mbuemo’s pass, not meant as a dig at Sesko
You don’t need to see him outpacing Tarkowski to notice that the lad is rapid though.
He’s shown that pace in other games too.
His physical profile is honestly incredible, you can definitely see why he was so highly regarded by scouting teams around the world.
We’ll see if he gets to fulfill that potential but there’s he’s got a really high ceiling, that’s for sure.
Sesko’s been nominated for the MOTD Goal of the Month for February, for his goal against West Ham.

You think you got me brother but the jokes on you! Sesko, Alvarez. You ain’t getting both
who are you going to abandon?
There’s no way Utd are selling Sesko in the summer, so he is going to have to become my long term Havertz replacement. When it comes to this summer, I only have
for Alvarez ![]()
May the lord have mercy on us all.
He’s so gonna lose it when neither Gyokeres nor Jesus are in any rush to leave while on 250k pw.
Very happy for Gyokeres to stay…Jesus on the other hand

Didn’t see the game and I realize he scored earlier but wtf.
Not his greatest moment. But he did score today!
Haha fuck that’s bad, worse than his miss v Portugal but similar position.
Shit happens but he’s yet again on the scoresheet. That’s his 5th in the last 7 games, and if you dig deeper he played about 250 minutes in total in those games.
He’s even caught Gyokeres on non penalty goals in the PL despite playing less than him.
It’s not just the numbers, it’s the eye test as well. Honestly shaping up to be a freak prospect.
Getting non-buyer’s remorse watching him for Man Utd now.
I was low-key hoping that if Man Utd slipped out of the CL places then perhaps he’d be available but it’s looking very unlikely that’d happen and even if they did at this point he’d be one of the last players they’d look to sell.
It is what it is at this point. Hopefully he doesn’t get to realise his potential there. Track record is certainly not on his side playing for that club.
We wouldn’t be any worse off if we signed him instead and we’d be looking at a better prospect for the years to come. My opinion, anyway.
Certainly not the same as when we missed out on Mudryk.
I’d relish us taking him off Man U, payback for RvP. We know that Sesko would have preferred us.
This lad can’t make the united team on a regular basis. Don’t think he was the answer for us tbh.
I guess that’s a good point with the injury crisis we had earlier in the season in mind.
For the many flaws Gyokeres has, he’s been mostly available and has been playing a lot of minutes.
Maybe Sesko wouldn’t have been ready for that.
I think this will look silly next season when he maxes out at 15 goals again, despite being settled.
