Likely end the season on roughly 20 goals so all in all it hasn’t been a campaign as bad as some (mainly me) would have you believe.
He’s clearly found his scoring form in 2026 though that’s for sure

The criticism for Gyokeres is 100% justified. Goals aside, most of the critiques still stand and are completely accurate on him.

A personal attack on OA?
On a serious note, and as I’ve said before, I do want Gyokeres to succeed at Arsenal. It is counter-intuitive not to. He absolutely deserved his MoTM award yesterday for his performance. He was excellent, and I keep watching his two goals back…both expertly taken. On another day, he could have easily had a hat-trick.
Hopefully, we can just feed him the ball, because the clinical nature of both finishes were really impressive. He certainly knows where the goal is!

They were good goals! 
Doesn’t suit their narratives though. Gyokeres is shit, every other forward signing is godly (or just not spoken about).
Sesko is looking decent but very happy that we opted for Gyokeres. Learned what I needed to know about Sesko when he flapped a late chance, then did not take a penalty in the same game vs Grimsby.

Looked like he fluffed a later chance by just running into the GK though. None of the strikers from the summer are looking all too great.
I think none of them have hit great levels yet but from a potential standpoint Ekitike and Sesko stick out and I think they’ll only get better in seasons to come.
Certainly justifying why they were the two hottest young strikers in the market last summer. Still don’t agree with the money paid for them though but I guess that’s a reality about the market I’ll have to accept.
