But they had a counter to that with Irving and Brunson before him. They had a solution for that by having two creators on the roster. I think his upcoming max is the reason for them to trade him. 345 million for five years for an injury prone player who doesn’t do everything the organisation wants him to do to keep his body healthy is a lot.
I think teams have gotten very cautious with that supermax anyway.
And signs new 2 year deal for 121m. Bucks also moving Middleton for Kyle Kuzma. OKC get Theis which is decent depth. Should be a lot more activity over the next 18 hours or so.
Lebron is putting up 24ppg, 9apg and 7rpg at 40 years old. He’s obviously not the same guy he was but those numbers are so impressive considering his age and amount of milage on his body.
Absolute madness. One of the best coaches in the league. How about blaming their shitty fucking front office for adding nothing around Jokic after the title.
Edit: just seen they fired Booth too so I kinda take part of that back lol
But Murray has gotten his extension after the title. At the time there were already doubts if this was a good thing to do.
@RockyMaivia just looking at their record it seems fine but they are not good as a team if you get what I mean. They are where they are because Jokic is having an incredible season, but I don’t think they are good enough too win it all. With them all being in their primes you would expect a 55±win season I reckon.
Only half a dozen miles away from the arena as the “croath lies” (to quote Kermode) but haven’t been able to get out to watch a Clippers game this season. Will be happy enough watching games on the telly though. Should be a decent matchup vs the Nuggz. Joker is my fave non-Clipper, and won’t be as pissed off if we go out against them compared to some other teams.
