Apparently his fitness was an issue yet they traded for Anthony DaytoDavis. They could have easily gotten 5 1st rounders and a young star potentially too. Odd move.

It must have been horrible internally for them to get to this point. Injuries, prone to sulking and poor conditioning.
Probs the finals confirmed to the coaching staff, Luka and his iso style won’t take them over the top in a finals against elite opposition.
I think their squad is better with AD and Kyrie, they are deffo win now contenders for a 2 year window.

Little I’ve seen Mavericks fans are fuming so they absolutely hate this deal.
That’s bullshit if they think that. Give him a rebounding big, a decent second option who is ideally a 3-4 guy (maybe like Mikal Bridges) and some shooters, defenders and the impact guys most championship teams have and they could get over the line.
Last season’s Mavs squad wasn’t that good honestly.
