Christ that Golden State line up looking old as almighty now.
I think they’ll try to trade CP3’s expiring contract next off-season. It would allow Golden State the ability to keep the salary slot. If there’s a team wishing to be next years Wizard’s, I can imagine Golden State trying to acquire those players and using CP3’s expiring as leverage.
As for Poole, the punch and the footage getting released to the public really did accelerate his exit. It’s a shame he had to leave, but there was simply no way they could run it back with the same bad vibes.

Maybe so. Even if they treated Poole better it was always going to result in either him or Draymond leaving. And Kerr said it himself, the Warriors aren’t a contender without Draymond.
38 year old CP3 is still a better bet for the playoffs than Jordan Poole. His contract is very tradable too unlike Poole’s.
