I want to see how their billionaire owner will do.
They are just a piece or two missing and time to consider the luxury tax.
If you don’t do it, probably that (conference semi final) will be the best they could do, and time for rebuild.
How can it take them so long to get the surgery ? Lol
It was a partial tear so idk, maybe they thought he could avoid the surgery? Anyways Kawhi’s health and his response to it by the team he’s on is always a difficult thing because of the way he reacts. Already were rumors that Kawhi was unhappy with the staff, and we already know how the San Antonio thing played out.
@Aussiegooner here is the word on the street. If this is true I don’t think Kawhi will be a Clipper next year
Fuck the Clippers are doomed if that’s true.
Bucks tie the series at 2-2, Middleton with 40pts, and Booker with 42 with as many tough shots and fouls lol…Greek freak came in clutch with this block
Series going 7 games I think, good to see with two small markets and relatively evenly matches sides.
Good buddy of mine is a Suns fan. I feel like I jinxed them by sending him congratulatory texts after going up 2-0.
Gotta wait for Woj or Shams on this one lol.
We could deal them Schroeder, Kuzma, and Montrezl with a couple future firsts. I think player wise that’s probably the best Portland is gonna get from any of those teams listed there but if they want draft picks there are other teams who have a lot more to give.
Of course we could maybe sweeten the deal by getting another team involved and helping Portland get Levine from the Bulls, he’s available as well from what I hear.
Edit: oh I forgot we also have THT who was the reason we didn’t trade for Lowry from Toronto at the deadline. They really wanted him and we wouldn’t include him in the deal. 20 year old two way player who will be a star in a few years. Maybe that will get the deal over the line.
Another Big 3 for LeQueen?
Come one, so sick of it.
I doubt it. These teams will purposely try to avoid trading with the Lakers even if it hurts their own franchise. San Antonio took a much worse package than we offered for Kawhi and they have been mediocre for years now. The Chris Paul trade comes to mind as well. We were trading Odom and Gasol to get him and they ended up with a bunch of Clippers junk ruined their franchise for years to come.
I think it was Kawhi not willing to go to the Lakers??
Not sure about the owner and GM, LeQueen tapping players is not something new. He just wants to get every all star he possibly can, to help him getting another ring and cement his GOAT status (Of course he is not).
Check Bucks and Suns this season, they don’t need a Big 3 to get into finals and play entertaining basketball. Go fuck LeQueen.
Lakers would be there if LeBron wasn’t at 60% and AD out completely. Neither of those guys were healthy and we had a 2 - 1 lead with a 10 point lead in game 4 against Pheonix, and AD went down for good.
If Kawhi was not injured…
Now load management makes a lot more sense than before.
Yeah if he wasn’t injured the Clippers win it too this year but, at this point we all know that Kawhi is an injury problem. Rumors about a chronic knee problem and he’s had 2 major surgeries in the past what, 3 seasons?
that’s what I said… he has a chronic knee and people kept complaining his load management.
Sounds disappointing.
With the Warriors, they could offer two first, Wiseman, Poole, and Wiggins for Dame.
76ers could offer Simmons, Maxey, and *add several picks here.
I dont see any of those offers as better tho tbh. Simmons we already know his limitations the guy can’t shoot. Wiseman and Poole aren’t anywhere near the players Schroeder and Trez are currently. Wiggins is an empty stat sheet guy, Kuzma can do what he does if allowed to. I think THT is probably the biggest prize of any of the guys u listed…a lot of GMs view him that way as well.
Also for reference just look at the deal that landed Harden for the Nets. What I’ve thrown out as a deal the Lakers could do, is miles better than what the Nets let go…
