I did not watch the game… Simmons had like 13 assists and why he got all the sticks?
Absolutely not.
Simmons would be a not bad pickup for his asists and defence.
But not for Lavine, no way.
No trade makes sense…unless it’s Draymond for Simmons. CJ for Simmons feels like a net loss for the 76ers.
What about a trade that somehow involves MPJ? This would have to involve more players obviously.

If I’m Denver I’m not doing this. Porter Jr. and Murray are very good complementary players to Jokic. Simmons is that a lot less.
76ers don’t have a choice but to trade him given what Doc and Embiid have said post match, they might sack Doc but they aren’t gonna trade Embiid so I just don’t see how Simmons stays.
Hope those odds have some substance as I’d really like to see him in Portland as I’ve mentioned earlier.
@ronniec Simmons has major flaws but he shouldn’t be getting all the blame, things like Embiid having 8 turnovers and 3 assists didn’t help Philly’s cause either.

These new faces in the finals is only a good thing for the NBA.
Instead of worrying that no stars will mean less interest, think about the new opportunities of these younger guys becoming marketable stars.
Imagine complaining you got a Trae Young and Devin booker breaking out for everyone to see.
It’s also probably more due to crowds being back in arenas making it more watchable for your average fan.

Yeah the more fair comparison would be to the 2019 finals. All sports ratings here were at rock bottom because of the arenas being empty.
