Aston Villa

I think they’ve got decent full backs, a good goalkeeper, good midfielders and some solid attacking options.

There’s absolutely no reason they should have 9 or 10 points after 9 games and now they’ve got a nightmare run of fixtures.

By the end of October they could easily be sat in the relegation zone

Yeah Aston Villa have enough talent to be achieving a hell of a lot more, Stevie G is doing a shite job.

They play some dire stuff too. Rogers is a great shout, think that’s a great job for him.

Sean Dyche

Stealing @Calum’s bit here

Funny you say that because watching them play is an awful watch just like it was with Dyche’s Burnley

They’ve comfortably been involved in some of the worst games this season

I’ve been a fan way longer then Cal has

That’d be massive for the Villa

Convince him to step back into management, like he retired on a high or something :ozil:

Think its worded like that as it says he is waiting for Tottenham and it would take a big offer from Villa to convince him

most overrated manager to ever exist tbh

What’s the Chelsea manager got to do with this?

Esplain yourself LTG

Got a message that Gerrard’s gone but apparently it’s just a couple of Twitter rumours following the reports this morning.
Interesting to hear that Villa are looking at Poch, Emery and Tuchel.

They’ve got the money, they gotta push for it. It’s a bit unacceptable to have spent so much, have such a squad and be closer to the relegation zone than the top half of the table. Their football is proper rubbish 9 times out of 10.

I can see Poch wanting to wait it out again but last that kept him off a job for some time. Pretty positive he’ll replace Conte at Spurs if he waits it out. I would like to see him at Villa personally. It’s their right project to rebuild his stock. Less pressure to deliver and they’ll certainly give him time considering how patient Villa were with Smith and Gerrard.

No chance at any of those.

Although I am curious to see where Tuchel lands, maybe Juve?

Can see that. It’s either Conte or Tuchel for Juve, I reckon.

Pochettino absolutely isn’t going to downgrade to Villa. He’ll wait for the inevitable Conte return to Italy and take over Spurs and Villa will be stuck with Dyche or something like that.
