Arsène Wenger

This is probably true. For all intents and purposes Kronke backs Wenger, that definitely hasn’t changed.

The article spells it out IMO. Pretty much categorically states there will be no dof. For me that’s the one thing that might have made him walk.

I expect this thread to be well past 10k by January. No chance he leaves imo. Gazidis will probably go back to MLS. Could Josh then get the big job?

Transfer and contract negotiator Dick Law, whose own deal expires in September, will keep his job for the time being.

no new signings then, but then again this squad will win the league…

So no changes whatsoever then, sweet
The businessman has privately reiterated his support for Wenger and his commitment to providing him with the resources he needs to win the Premier League title.

Wenger is acutely aware of the disruption his departure at such a late stage could cause, which is one of the reasons why it is most likely he will extend his reign. However, it is not definitive.
Transcribes to indecision during the months leading up until now and leaving it late will be far more damaging and that for all concerned, it’s best that he stays on for X amount of time.

I suppose at least we know to avoid Football during Jan and Feb.

Yep, over 38 games we were 11 points behind Spurs and 18 behind Chelsea, but our true qualiteeee showed in the FA Cup final, so we are certainly fine…

I am fully prepared for Groundhog Day and Don Quixote AW taking us through another couple of years.

We’re so screwed, I’m waiting for Arsenal P.R spin to actually try to make this seem like it’s a great decision. They have their work cut out trying get fans wanting him out trying to get them back onside. Don’t be surprised if they announce a new deal for Ozil or Alexis over the coming week to try and soften the blow of Wenger signing on. It’s going to get interesting cause a bad transfer window (let’s be honest he ain’t spending big), we lose Alexis, He comes out with his usual crap about this team been good enough to win titles, and bad start to the season and we’re back to square one again.

This board have any ambition to be the best. complete joke.

It’s too late now anyway. Preparations for the new season should already be underway with a new manager in place. Wenger will sign another contract and he better deliver an actual challenge this time.

He will… until Dec or Feb… then something will happen, completely out of his control… again…

Keep dreaming, he might deliver you a Fa Cup or maybe Europa League if he takes It serious. Promise you he won’t be winning a PL title ever again, too many top coaches that will out think him and out fight him over 38 games. Are level under him will be Fa Cup or Europa League. All this talk of him delivering needs to stop cause we here it every time he signs a damn contract.

We’ll win the league next season. Sanchez and Özil will stay. Things at Arsenal are looking up.

Tbf that definitely would soften the blow for me. You say it like it’s a bad thing, but I’d be ecstatic if they announced new deals for either of those two.
