OHHHHH.
[/quote]Pretty sure many clubs have offered him big resources over the years, but still choose to stay here.
Sorry Cal

Would they really fire Emery after one season?
Optimistic side of me is thinking that those 15 days sync pretty well with Wenger saying he knows what he’ll do next year…but that’s probably just blind optimism.
There wasn’t any Buzz to kill mysty anyway
lol
i feel like that is obvious given his open love for football. he lives and breaths it far more than any fan ever could. Many managers are probably the same.
Anyway, Arsene to PSG would be phenominal. Imagine if he got them fourth.
He doesn’t seem to use that obsessiveness though. He probably just has a giant excel sheet of all the players he’s watched over the years and the arbitrary value he’s attached to each.
Sampaoli was aproached by Arsenal says an argentinian newspaper but just as a comment, that’s not even the main story.
So he is signing a 6-year extension? :mustafi:
It says nothing, tbh.
67 year old child… Smirk smirk smirk…thats him not me…
I’ve always thought of myself as a moderate and not someone who invests any wasted energy and emotion in ‘hating’ figures in football, least of all those connected to my own club. Even moreso the most successful manager in said club’s history.
Somehow tho I feel that on the day this sodding extension is finally announced - and all the circus around it at least ends - I will actually resent Wenger still being here for the first time. Will be a weird feeling to process.
Wenger might be obsessive about football and he probably knows more about players than most.
But what’s the point of identifying great players and then watching other clubs buy them, and then saying we tried to buy them?
His hesitancy in the transfer market and reliance on inadequate players has got him into this mess and I can’t see how he can get himself out of it.
There’s a lot of talk of a massive clear out in the next transfer window, and loads of money to spend, but he has got himself into a situation where this has become necessary so why should we trust him to to sort it out?
fucking hell. theres that same post again.

These protest are still incredibly pathetic and are getting more stupid.
Hope Wenger stays just to remind these people how insignificant their shit opinions are
Why would you want that in any way lol.
Also why is their opinion insignificant? ![]()
i wanted to ask but decided the answer probably wasn’t worth the energy. So, thanks.
All Gooners opinions are insignificant. The club is a business and we’re nothing but customers. In the end, no matter how much Gazidis says otherwise (his quote on the side of that van) and how much noise the fans make about a new direction, the club will do as they wish and bugger anyone elses thoughts on the matter.
“Thank you for your interest in OUR affairs” - PHW.
It took you long enough to realise what was going on.
I think Chris Sutton is a terrible pundit. But he made a reasonably valid point today…
“The fact that Wenger is in control of his own destiny at Arsenal is wrong.”
I agree with this. It shouldn’t be down to him to decide whether he wants to leave or not.
