Arsène Wenger

#WENGER STAYS ON 2 YEARS

Just before a huge game against City too

“Commits his future until 2017” @Bl1nk

The blurb gives it away. Nice try

You tit!

To be fair, that is not entirely unexpected from a grown man who goes by “Chips”.

I would imagine anyone who’s name is “Chippendale” and who went to Eton and then married the daughter of an Earl, probably didn’t queue up at the turnstiles for the North Bank or Clock End.

It’s people like him and, before that, Hill Wood, who criticise supporters for daring to question Wenger or the board, that show just how out of touch they are.

The Daily Express.
A newspaper obsessed with Princess Diana and the McCanns.
Pathetic.

If they don’t announce his new contract via a plane flown over the Emirates tomorrow just as City take the lead then they’ve missed a trick. That would possibly be one of my moments of the the year.

I rarely have Football dreams, but bizzarely last night I dreamt that we lost 6-0 at home to Man City and Arsene announced his departure from the club soon after :joy: It felt so weirdly real as well.

Tbh the worst thing about Brendan Rodgers was the utter fail of mindgames and making himself look like a muppet in interviews and conferences to the point you couldn’t take him seriously. I thought he seemed like a decent enough coach otherwise though.

Yeah couldn’t really stand him, but I think recent stats showed his ppg weren’t all that different from Klopp, no?

Brendan coming to The Arsenal would be a wondrous thing and I for one hope it happens

To be fair to Ivan, MLS is a very different type of league. It’s a closed system with no promotion or relegation and the league itself owns the clubs. Ivan, allegedly, has been tasked with beefing up the commercial side of things. It looked like he was doing it with the shirt sponsor and kit supplier deals only to have Man United blow those figures away.

I think though that with the natural progression of the premier league and the amount of money involved we would have got there without him anyway.

12 points behind Spurs, be careful what you wish for.

“Retirement is dying”, says Arséne. Nice snapshot there of how he views his relationship with Arsenal.

Have the bookies started paying out on him staying yet?

OHHHHH.
