The saying ’ be careful what you wish for ’ couldn’t be further from the truth regarding Wenger .
Don’t we all wish for a manager who is challenging for the
premier league , actually challenging .
Makes a statement in the champions league , by winning it .
Playing high tempo attacking football , closing down and defending like they actually want to win .
Someone who doesn’t regard 4th place is a trophy .
In Wenger we stagnate .
Is he Arsenal’s most successful manager ?
No
He is however , Arsenal’s most overrated and underachieving manager .,
Be careful what we wish for or be careful of what we have now ?

The first picture is one of the first signs I’ve seen that is actually worth displaying, not idiotic, and I’m glad to see displayed, and then they go and ruin it with all that other rubbish, lol. “In Wenger we Rust”?? How does that even makes sense outside of some kind of very disgusting and strange long-term sex act? And then the other half just makes us look like a bunch of entitled cunts…

Those comments of Hill Wood illustrate the arrogance of our board when he was here, and I don’t think it is any different with Kroenke and Gazidis.
What other business would get away with such disregard to their “customers?”
Imagine any other top company in the business world serving up so much dross consistently, and then telling their customers, “you still have to buy our product, even though we give you a sub standard service and you are stupid enough to stick with us and not go elsewhere.”
The board and Wenger should remember there was a club long before them and there will be one when they aren’t.
They would also do well to remember, without the supporters they would not be here.

The other side should’ve had the small quote from Wenger as the big part and the “20 years, still waiting” part in small letters. (or preferably not there at all. No one has a God given right to win a trophy)
Yeah, or just get rid of the quote too and go with a totally different sign. The quote isn’t even damning at all because it’s one of Wenger’s more accurate statements this season.
That quote with 10-2 next to it is sensationalist and for a large section of fans, would work. It’s designed to make Wenger look bad and to insight a feeling of anger and resentment. Job done.
However, we gave a decent account of ourselves for one half of a 2 leg tie. So… that said, I guess it worked with me too.

Yeah, basically. Which helps to explain why I find it pretty annoying.
I mean, one half and then another half that is basically a total write-off because of an inexplicable refereeing decision. But that’s not really the point…the point is there’s a million other things you could use to incite anger and frustration and look a bit less of a dumb knob in doing so.

I agree that Wenger should really sign on again, but this is getting desperate and stupid doing stuff like this now…even if he does resign what are they going to do next after this, imagine 2 more years of this and it will escalate if this is just the start. Soon they might have to have armed guards for Wenger ffs and people are going way too far.
in all fairness, it isnt strictly down to him. the decision makers want him and have made the job offer.
