Arsène Wenger

I think he’s staying he’s just waiting for a decent run of form to announce it, the club don’t want the backlash of announcing it whilst on a shambolic run of form.

Think there will be backlash now no matter if he wins every single game until the end of the season…i think this season has been the breaking point even for some AKBs because even some of those are getting a little fed up.

There surely isn’t a case where Wenger or the club realise him staying is unpopular so they want to keep it quiet. That’s basically saying they know it’s the wrong move.

If they back him they should be proud to say it. If he’s going nowhere he should be proud to say it.

There’s something fucked up about the whole situation.

Maybe they just cannot attract a manager they want for now, so its wenger or bust!

its not actually. purely anecdotal evidence so not worth explaining @AbouCuellar

The offer is on the table for Arsene. It’s just him who is stalling. As @Aussiegooner said, just waiting for a couple of wins on the bounce first most likely. The board want to keep him on at all costs.

I’m sure W engers love for the club has nothing to do with the big fkk off £8m contract he wrangled for himself every year.

i agree with whoever said he’s hoping for a run of wins, but not to walk away. He hopes a win or two will appease (good word.lol) the fans enough to distract them so he can wrangle himself some more of the £8 m or £10m love for the club.
Love my butt. Wenger is nothing more than greedy money grabbing slime ball. Leeching onto a club who have been brainwashed into believing he actually cares about Arsenal.

if money was a key driver he would be in China.

Who in their right mind would want to live in China Oliver?
You could also say that if China was the EASTS Barcelona or London you’d need a fleet of planes a day to cope with the mad rush to get over and play.
Do you think for one minute every footballing agent in Europe won’t have advised his players to go to China.

for £30m a year (iirc) he would move there, if money was his primary motivator.

Thanks to this mastermind we are going to have a refreshed Sanchez ready to overturn a 5-1 deficit against Bayern Munich on Tuesday Night.

And he just sits there impassively like he’s a fucking telepath.

They could get 5 today and he does…you guessed sweet fuck all.

Hopefully they get 5 and Bayern do again in Midweek.

The next manager is already going to have a massive rebuilding job on his hands, the longer Wenger stays the bigger it will be…

:xhaka:

If this guy signs a new contract i dont care what he does or achieves i will lose every ounce of respect of him, after this constant shit each season he surely has to realise he has nothing more to offer…if he fucking stays i will be so fucking angry!
