Lessons learnt:

Holding and Iwobi deserve to be starting, performing better than some of the seniors and more importantly thriving under the new system too. Ozil needs to play the #10 role. But that is obvious.

Oh we got another clean sheet too, absolute scenes.

Good result in the end, but 9 shots at home, with an own goal required to score the first, is still very bad.

Lots of work to be done. I would drop Xhaka or Torreira for Ramsey and use Ɩzil as the #10. Canā€™t rely on the players being this clinical forever. The defensive double pivot adds little defensive control, as seen by how much these average teams still create.

September once again proves to be a very strong month for Arsenal. So good to have that winning feeling right now. Weā€™re riding our luck but the team is really gaining traction and confidence the more wins weā€™re putting together.
