International break after this, annoyingly.
Will be interested to see how Arteta rotates, if at all.
I hope to see Martinelli starting on the bench, he was dead in the second half last night.

Genuinely pisses me off because it’s not even like our key players get a rest.
I honestly think if I was a professional football player I’d absolutely refuse to play for my country. Feels a lot of extra bollocks and effort for nothing.
We don’t do easy, even though Southampton are pathetic, so while I am quietly confident, anything is possible… I just hope we don’t pick up any injuries, or stupid red cards. The rest will take care of itself.
Would be nice to rotate a player or two here and have allow for some early subs too ahead of the international break.
With an international break coming I don’t expect rotation. 1-2 changes maybe.

Timber rested maybe as a precaution and perhaps a forward rotated in.
Expecting the same midfield.

They’re on a losing streak, I don’t want us to be the ones with whom they break it, like that infamous meme, would love a crushing victory here.
From what I’ve seen of them they’re not as bad as Sheffield United and Burnley last season but they’re definitely one of the weaker sides in the PL.
I low-key want us to smash them though because I haven’t yet forgotten that they cost us 4 points back in 2022-2023.

If there’s an international break after this, can definitely see Arteta going full strength here. Probably a couple changes with Sterling starting may be, and a rest for Timber and/or Calafiori, and that’ll be it imo.
