I would like to see both Sterling and Jesus start. We can’t play Havertz every single match all season, we’re going to need Jesus to round back into form and this could be a way to get minutes into his legs and maybe get him going with a goal.
If White is healthy he should definitely play RB as he is well rested and won’t be playing over the international break.
I don’t think giving MLS a start would be the worst idea. Calafiori needs a rest and we’ll probably be camped out in the Southampton half and trying to break them down most of the game, so a LB with more ball playing ability makes sense. Start MLS for 45-60 minutes, then let Kiwior mop up.
Where did you get that from? That’s super cheap Sham! Hope you have a fab time. They have upgraded club level and the restaurants and bar area is pretty impressive now. Hopefully a good result to match too!
@shamrockgooner hope you have a good time. Saints are so bad. We’re obviously going to win, but it won’t be 6-0.
What else are you doing while you’re in London?
Absolutely. Just rest Timber, and tell Koeman he’s not available for the International break. White must be itching to get back having missed so many games. If he’s fit, he should start. As for the rest, I think Mikel will stick to the same team that played mid week. If we get the job done early, then he’ll bring on Sterling, MLS, Nwaneri etc. in the second half.
i think international break is coming at a good time for us. we have some players coming back from injury and some needs rest as well, hopefully we win and most of these players have a good rest and comeback strongly after break especially the likes of White, Partey, Odegard, Tomiyaso and Mikel Merino
i think we should have a near full strength squad after international break
I could show you the spot that Anne Boleyn was murdered. And then I can take you right to the book shop in Charing Cross road, and show you the book that proves Anne Boleyn did not sleep with her brother
