Just like with City/Benfica. We’ll take our shitty performance into this one. Labour to a 1-1 draw and we’ll hate our lives for watching it.

Lol u think he brings Bellerin right back into the team for the most important match of the season?

I will be extremely surprised if Bellerin doesn’t start.

We’ve not had a good ol’fashioned punch up for ages . Long overdue

We’ll win, but concede

All that big talk about doing revenge against Slavia for being racist, but we’re going to lose pathetically, aren’t we?

Nope, in classic Arsenal fashion we’ll smash Slavia and go on a good streak of results only to get slapped West Brom at home, Chelsea style.

I’ll say 2-1 Arsenal in a nervy and cagey affair.

We’ll definitely beat Slavia. There is just too much of a gulf in quality. Obviously the same can be said of most opponents in the PL, but in those games there is more pressure of being mid-table, having to perform and that same pressure being too much too handle.

Tbf, they knocked out Leicester didn’t they? And quite emphatically as well. Scored 2, didn’t even concede.

They also knocked out Sevilla two years ago and then had a competitive showing against Chelsea (5-3 loss on agg).

They were in the CL group stage last season with Barca, Inter and Dortmund. Got a point at both Inter and Barca. Lost two of the games by a goal - at Dortmund and home to Barca.

Did the double on Nice and beat Leverkusen in the group stages of the Europa this season before obviously knocking out Leicester too.

I think anyone dismissing them completely is building it up so that if we fail to do so, the hammer can come down hard on MA.

Leno
Cedric Chambers Gabriel Saka
Partey Xhaka
Pepe Odegaard ESR
Aubameyang

  • Chambers instead of Holding. Better passer/playing out of pressure.
  • Saka to emulate what Tierney gives us in attack on the left hand side, allowing ESR freedom to shift in
  • Auba back to CF with two creative #10’s behind

Odegaard a doubt
Right ankle. Martin has been experiencing discomfort to his right ankle since being on international duty.
Martin is being assessed ahead of Thursday’s match regarding his availability.

Tierney and David Luiz out

However, Saka, Smith-Rowe and Xhaka are back and available for selection.

Saka-ESR-Pepe coming back?

We eating good. :smiling_imp:

Willian probably…
