This season can be written off now if it hadn’t been already. As for this club, I think the board along with Kroenkes have to decide where this club goes from here.
We are in serious danger of becoming a Newcastle. The rebuild has to start now cause it will take a few years before we are in the top 4 again. And the first step is to appoint a manager who will be willing to be part of the rebuild and I don’t see any established name wanting to do it. Maybe Arteta is the right man after all.
Yeah ok, either way they could have scored 5 or 6 if they wanted.

Can’t blame city for resting players most of the top teams will against us
.maybe we should of thought of resting some of ours against top sides. Give the youth some experience

Well tbf we pretty much knew that after last season lol when we finished 28 points behind them with a 50 goal difference delta between the two clubs… 50 f*ing goals… let that sink in. Last season they basically were 1.3 goals better than their opponents ON AVERAGE in comparison to us.
Even sadder than that is that over 17 games their GD is 28 and ours is -3… for a difference of 31 over 17 games… they are almost 2 GD better than us on average this season.

Yeah continuing to finish out of CL and fall into increasing irrelevance in chasing silverware will definitely hurt the long-term value of the brand and our finances… I haven’t studied the latest reporting on our financial health, but it wasn’t exactly good given the increase in wages and transfer spending.
