Always looked fat and overweight even in his prime. Tried to kill Van Pussy too. A violent and vile human being.

Until we actually go out and win a league title we’ll have to deal with comments such as these.

Yep, it’s up for us to prove them wrong.

Because losing to this shit everton team isn’t really proving them wrong.

I obviously am praying and wishing that we win the league but deep down I don’t think we will. If we don’t lose on Wednesday I might increase my hopes by 10 percent

We’ll beat them. We’ve got the best return against the Top 6 for a reason. These are the stakes this team seems to thrive in this season. Big match at the Emirates nowadays is tough for any team, City won’t be any different.

I get his hot take but we were on pace for 100 points so it wasn’t exactly a brave prediction to think we’d drop points during the second half of the season.

Hopefully you’re wrong and we do win it, because if you can’t win the league when you win 16 of your opening 19 games then who knows when we’ll end this 2 decade long title drought.

February is still to early for me. Taking it each game at a time and enjoying/hating the ride :joy:

If we are still in the mix by April then I will really start to believe it.

April and May are the big boy months

Hopefully a little easier when others get forced to playing by the same rules.

I give shit to Man Utd and EtH but they’ve had a better run of form than City and we schooled them at the Emirates. City lost to Southampton, Spurs and Man Utd the past month.

As good as they are at home, they’ve shown to be very vulnerable when playing away. Taking the away games alone this season, they’re sixth in the league.

That won’t be happening.

City will be a threat for years to come.

United will continue to improve under ETH.

Chelsea and Liverpool are unlikely to have seasons like this again.

Then we have Newcastle lurking also.

A forum evenly divided lol

The crowd is going to be really nervy on Wednesday.

I think the crowd was nervy already on Saturday, will be even more so the case on Wednesday. We might need something at the start of the game (a goal, big chance, some injustice maybe as long as it’s not as bad as last Saturday), to get the crowd going early!

Absolutely dreading this match

Mother in law is desperate to help out in any way thats she can, has been quite insistent about my wife and baby going to stay there one night this week. Between loudly saying I’d miss them both and dont really want then to go away for the night, I’ve quietly suggested Wednesday as the optimal night for it.

Having to pretend I’m not actually quite excited by the prospect of an uninterrupted football match with the volume turned up and the ability to freely shout at the ref and the opposition.

Let alone being able to get a continuous, uninterrupted 7 hours of sleep afterwards before work the following day. Seeing as she certainly won’t be getting the same, if I value my life I better not fucking mention it to my wife :joy:

Shitting it already about the match though, simply because of the stakes being so high, and them being amplified by our failure in the past two league matches. Though I am consoled slightly by our strong home record and City’s poor away one. Logically, we should go into this with some degree of confidence about getting a win, it certainly isn’t beyond us this season, not at all.

A draw would be ok, though having to still go to City after this match, where you’d have to say a loss is the more likely outcome, makes me think twice. We really want to be winning this one, and then we can go to City in the hope of a win, but be delighted with a draw, and not too disappointed with a loss as our previous win at home would at least even it out, leaving us where we would be had we not played City at all.

If we lose tomorrow then I’m gonna have a hard time feeling any strong sense of confidence about our title challenge, it’ll feel like a slump getting 1 point from an available 9, rather than a minor blip, which is how I currently view the past 2 games.
