I reckon this season the new staff and Arteta have definitely seen that he is not fit for purpose as we have had constant problems with rehab from injuries for years and years now.

A team playing once a week shouldn’t have these many issues. Maybe it’s part on him and part on the coach deliberately shrinking the squad.
