Arsenal vs Everton (PL) 2-1

Imagine somehow we won it and didn’t have these shirts for the sake of humility or whatever the fuck.

I hate being negative which is rare for me in the last couple of years compared to be what I used to be like.

But I simply can’t help but feel whatever we do here is in the vain. Best I can see west ham doing is pushing city by scoring early to give us hope but ultimately city still winning.

More likely though I think city will be a couple up at HT.

As for next season I don’t know that we have to hope for, us to to become even better and go higher than 89 points ? ( big ask) or city to have a slight dip which means our level now is good enough ?

Probably but not much to lose from the hope tomorrow mate. We know likelihood is them taking it, worst case we’re a bit more pissed off tomorrow night having got the hopes up but might as well pray for the miracle.

Who from here is gonna be at the stadium tomorrow? Ticket or not.

Yeah I hear you mate and I do agree.

I hope we win it in the next couple of years, or that 86th min Son miss going to live rent free in my head until we do.

Think I’ve definitely accepted City will win tomorrow but hopefully we just have a great final game and end the season on a high. So much to be proud of this season :ode:

I’m going to dream tonight and see how it goes tomorrow.

I’ve accepted City will and has won the title this year.

But I will be effing and jeffing at them all summer and next season until they get barred.

Can’t stand that fake club being in the position they’re in.

They really do want to will into existence, don’t they?

At this point just take that trophy that’s gonna be at the Emirates and claim it. Tell City to go cry about it to the PL.

How good would it be though, not only unexpected but beating the cheats on the final day, Mikel pipping his mentor and turkey teeth in the same season, 20 years invincibles anniversary and well…Spurs after the other day.

It couldn’t be more perfect, please please please fucking happen.

It will definitely be an all-timer moment in PL history.
The infallible City slipping and Arsenal winning it on the last day after all hope is lost to win their first PL in 20 years.

The final jinx is in place. Good job Agent Ronaldo.

This is a very good question.

It’s why I’m in the vain hope that all the miraculous pieces of the jigsaw fall into place today :pray:t6:

Anyone got two spare tickets? :joy:

City always get the job done when put in these positions in the league.

Went 2 goals down a couple of seasons ago, and still came back and won it. Liverpool were winning in their game too iirc.

It will take an unprecedented Pep / City bottlejob for us to be celebrating tonight. I’m willing it to happen with all my being but it’s just not going to happen. Watch Rodri score a crucial goal, the absolute bastard.

It’s not that I hope for it, I absolutely EXPECT this team to go on 90+ points next year if things just keep moving in the right/same direction and everything goes as planned.

This team still has some obvious room to improve in certain areas… Our chance creation and our efficiency in the final third still isn’t on super elite level, even though we have scored a pretty big number of goals… We can definitely add some quality in those areas in the summer…
Also we had a pretty bad first half of the season, while we were still adjusting some new things… I think we definitely can have a better overall season with the team we have assebled atm, plus with adding some quality and depth in the summer.

If you think we have reached the peak of our project you are dead wrong.
