Tough team to play at the moment, but I just think we’re one of the top 2 or 3 sides in the world if I’m being honest.

Arsenal 2-0 Palace.

Second game of the season for me. I lost too much of my life to the TX for this to be anything other than an Arsenal win.

6-0, obviously.

Just dont concede and we should be fine.

One of those games where even if we take a good lead, we shouldn’t relax.

Happened last season and we got punished, and in recent months others have had to find that out.

Goals for Gryokers, Eze and Saka please.

Score early and we can sink these. Let’s not give them any confidence.

Am going 3-0

I would say tough game but I’m sure Phoebica will come and tell me how Palace aren’t very good at home (even though they aren’t playing at home).

i reckon Gyokeres will score in this game

Palace are playing a strong side today, hopefully leaving them a bit jaded for Sunday.

Are they home or away today?

Home and I’ve been told they’re struggling to break down AEK.

0-1 down now even

In 5/6 six PL wins this season we’ve broken the deadlock through a set piece. Low key isn’t sustainable.

We can pretty much get ourselves a minimum of 5 or so corners a game, potentially more as well as a free kick or two.

Is this really less sustainable than 6 or 7 good balls into the box in open play against a low block where we will generally have less players able to attack the ball than we would on a set piece?

We scored 15 set piece goals last year and 20 the previous season. So no it is not sustainable to rely on set pieces breaking the deadlock to win games over the course of 9 months football.

We need to be close to performance with Man City and Liverpool and then set pieces be something which tilt the balance in our favour not just straight up full reliance on them.

Surprised Glasner chose not to rotate his squad yesterday. Most of the key players bar Richards played 90 mins.

I was nervous for this match but CP havent won their last 3 games. Arsenal really need to start well and take advantage of it by not only testing the keeper but converting them into goals - especially from open play.

Would like to see more vertical, central advanced areas play as well from the gunners - we need variation of offense rather than solely relying on wide players especially Saka and set pieces.

Raya;
Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori;
Eze, Zubimendi, Rice;
Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard

Martinelli and Merino as impact subs.
