Arsenal vs Crystal Palace (PL) 1-0

Very confident. We won’t concede more than one if we indeed score at all. Confident that we can get at least 2.

Worried that Eze may sit this one out and Merino may start.

Agreed. And unless I’m mistaken, you’re not suggesting we are right?

To me, it’s an additional way to put teams under pressure and make all of it count, open play, set pieces, long throws.
Especially in these tight games, these margins make the difference.

I think the fact that teams are worried conceding a foul or a corner makes us even more dangerous in open play.
It all adds up.

It creates situations like the Atleti game where once the balance is tipped, the opposing team essentially loses control and they get blown away. Some teams must feel suffocated playing us.

Mosquera game then.

@Gunnerpr really wanted us to not break the deadlock with another set piece.

If there’s one striker you want Gabriel available for it’s probably vs Mateta.

I’d bring in Mosquera and go Calafriori LB.

I’ve watched presser just a bit ago. The amount misquotes doing the rounds from so called Arsenal aggregators is fucking incredulous.

Hopefully Mikel won’t fall into the Wenger trap and make various unnecessary changes purely because it’s an inferior side.

Think Arteta is the last person to underestimate Palace. He’s got the League Cup next week to rotate heavily.

Good content though. Gets to have a pop at Arteta and Wenger in one go.

How many times did Arsene underestimate lower teams? An awful lot.
Maybe you’ve not been supporting AFC long enough to know,if not then hands up with an apology. Rotation has its place and is very much needed with games thick and fast especially chasing titles and European glory but none of us want broken gramophone playing the same old song,do we!

Classic of the genre. Good stuff.

Wright’n’Bright was one for the Ceefax watchers.

@Ashgooner1 Delaying that ban just a little bit longer :joy:

Yeah, we really don’t want that :upside_down_face:

The PL panel previewing the matches today said Saka is out tomorrow. Have I missed something?!

Edit: Seems some FPL insider stuff.

Edit 2: Fucking bastard had me worried. https://x.com/TikiTakaConnor/status/1982194355361272056

Ffs gc

Told you to block that gimp weeks back

Edit, might have been that marble halls cunt instead

Those bastards were saying we won’t miss Saka and Gabriel. One of them said we’ve got Madueke and he was corrected that Madueke is still injured.

I only had it in the background as well and as soon as I heard that I was baffled.

Apparently he didn’t train so FPL insiders thought he might be out.

Wait, are you saying he’s lying about Saka being in the squad?
