Arsenal vs Brighton (PL) 1-1

Limited audience tweet. Screenshot?

Haven’t even tuned in yet, that wasn’t a pen??

We got absolutely robbed yesterday.

Fixed it

Veltman absolutely knew what he was doing, can’t believe he didn’t even get a yellow for that and the ref completely decided to ignore that part of the action. A clear violent conduct.

Still makes my blood boil every time I watch this event. That clown of a ref shouldn’t be allowed to officiate another premier league game imo.

This is another shit part.
The ref fuck up his decision on Rice.
Then he did not care about what Veltman did.

What the fuck VAR is used for when it is needed?
Violent behavior!!!

This shows how rigged the PIGMOL and FA are.
Selectively usage of VAR.

I was fuming when on some other place a guy was commenting on why should they even use VAR for that… What’s the fucking logic behind NOT USING VAR in a situation where you are deciding whether to send someone off or not?
It’s not a crucial/decisive enough situation to turn on VAR lol? The rules are ridiculous here.

He absolutely did.
He intentionally rolled the ball into Rice’s feet.
He intentionally kicked Rice
All Rice did was nonchallantly chip away a ball intentionally rolled into his feet maybe what, a meter away?

The lack of pressure on the refs for this phase of play really gets at me.

Got yellow carded for being kicked lol

Think we should start kicking these fat fuck refs.

Intimidate them like Ferg and Keane did

Is the kick even low enough to touch the ball :joy:

Looking at this again btw I don’t see how can anyone blame Rice for one bit.

It was just such a harmless nudge on the ball after he got aware of it, I don’t think he was even aware of Veltman behind him trying to ā€œkick the ballā€ (he was obviously going for Rice lol).
Obviously Veltman couldn’t even do the free kick as the ball was rolling anyway.

This is never a yellow for Rice, pretty close to a red for Veltman, at least a yellow. Quite interested to see how PGMOL explaing this one.

If I had the opportunity to speak to the officials I’d simply ask what happened with the Pedro and
Saka incidents where both delayed free kicks by kicking/throwing the ball away. Why were you paying so little attention that you and the linesmen didn’t see it?

Missing stuff is understandable. Making-up a scenario in your head because you didn’t see what happened is unforgiveable. If you’re doing both frequently, you’re not fit to hold the whistle.

he fuck up, or he was bought.
no excuse besides that.

I’d like to see the following team at some point:
Raya
White-Saliba-Gabriel-Calafiori
Odegaard-Rice-Havertz
Saka-Jesus-Sterling

That’s decent…this is better…

I should have said against City, really.

I said this right away when it happened. Veltmen went to boot Rice and not the ball. How VAR have looked at that and said yep all good is beyond any normal human comprehension. Fucking lizards.

There’s even that little skip of his left foot to adjust his delivery of the kick at Rice. Veltman deserves a career-ending crunch tackle in our next game against them.

Richard Keys has an opinion on the yellow.
