I have watched our highlights on MOTD about 87 times now.
One thing I didn’t really care about on the first 86 viewings was the hand ball appeal though. But now it is bugging me. Does anyone class the top of the arm where the captain would wear the armband as shoulder?
I caught the commentator watch the slow motion replay, see it hit the arm near the armband, only to then say “that’s come off his shoulder”
I think the armband is meant to be the dividing line, so fair enough if so, as I can see some ambiguity in that case, but it absolutely, literally did not hit him on the shoulder.
Love these kind of video’s especially the ones where you see the moment of the goal. The split second of silence/anticipation when Nelson shoots before it is in is the best. Goosebumps.
So despite the first Bournemouth goal being allowed, as well as several hand ball decisions going their way and the fact we had seventeen corners, thirty shots, while playing without a recognised striker, some people saying we were lucky to get the win.
Not really. The armband is on the arm. Clue is in the name. And having perved on a lot of guys and having a fetish for arms, especially when driving, I can confirm the bicep is part of the arm.
Those clickbait MFs at 365 Football (link not included) have now formed the “Not celebrating enough Police” with the headline “Arsenal Fans Complain More Than They Celebrate”.
Pathetic, back to celebrating, oh hang on, is that too much or not enough? I’m confused now.
Was out for a few pints last night so didn’t watch it back on MoTD. A tear or two ran down my face when watching it back on iPlayer there. Look at this soppy cunt.
10.24 is the exact timestamp on iPlayer Nelson chests the ball lads. Note it in your diary
Oh Calum. I have watched and rewound so many times. It’s not so much the goal, it’s the celebrations after. Guys from coaching staff and just everyone being happy.
