Most pro footballers are pros because they enjoy what they do.
He probably just wants to be starting every week while he’s at his peak, rather than being rotated to hell while being played out of position

It’s all extremely quiet.
This reeks of Ramsdale and Ødegaard on loan with an obligation to buy with Willock going to Newcastle on deadline day.
No RB, no striker, no CM. That’s a big fucking failure from the Butthead Brothers running the club.
How would guys feel if we signed Bernardo Silva and Lautaro Martinez?
Orgasmic
Given we were linked to Ruben Neves and Tammy Abraham. I’d be delighted.
To be an adequate window, we should be signing at least a couple of players like this, with a CM, GK and RB, as well several players leaving.
Arteta and the board promised us a big and exciting window, with positions being filled with quality players and others leaving.
There’s nothing to suggest a fraction of this is going to happen.
Maddison has ambition to break through into the world cup squad. I’m just not convinced as to Bernardo’s drive if he comes to Arsenal, and his wages are already quite high. I’d still go with Madfison, despite some concern over injuries.
I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if this happens. Maybe this will be the season I’ll truly stop giving a fuck.
Anyway, still hoping for a miracle, atleast until there’s reason for hope, which is the transfer window being open.
He looks like a decent striker from the clips I’ve seen. Dynamite left foot.
Yeah, personally that’s who I would go for if I was Inter replacing Lukaku, Dortmund replacing Haalnd or Spurs replacing Kane.
Much better striker than Lautaro.
As I said a few days ago, firesale at Barcelona, French Clubs all broke, Italian clubs all broke.
The dynamic has changed and that’s had an effect on our sales but also the players available (since we’ve evidently got some cash sitting around).
If the club holds its nerve it could bag one, maybe even two world class attackers in the last few days of the window.
Expect most of our outgoings to be loans though, including Willock.
@Phoebica do you want to hype up Vlahovic too?
Sign him up!
Don’t get the Vlahovic links.
He’s not the kind of striker we need.
Give me Lautaro before him any day of the week.
6 days out from our 1st game and still needed…
RB, CM and CAM all of starting quality…
That’s the reliable guy from The Sun, well fuck.
I’ve always like Trippier but why are we looking for a RB in his thirties? All of our RBs have no upside.
Trippier wouldn’t be so bad if our backup wasn’t an 29 year old Cedric.
Not a huge fan of Trippier but I can say he’d probably be better than anything we’ve had at right back for quite some time.
Atletico have put a £25m+ price tag on Trippier which I don’t see Arsenal paying. A swap deal involving Bellerin would suit most parties.
Does Trippier want to move to Arsenal given the Spurs connection? A move to United would clearly be his preferred destination as he is from the area.
