I feel like a midfield of two CMS - Odegaard and Maddison with Partey acting as anchor could be straight fire. Rely for Elneny to partner Partey in the tough fixtures. Way too risky for Arteta’s managerial style yet I think it would actually suit him as he would make sure everyone in that midfield put their shift in.

Its a moot point because Lautaro almost certainly isn’t wiling to come here. But, just hypothetically, if you had the chance to get him (selling Laca or Auba one assumes) but it means you can’t fill CM or CAM, you just do it anyway, right? He has to be the best player overall with whom we’re linked and he seems like the ideal Arteta striker in terms of being able to drop, combine, dribble, but also get into the box and actually finish chances.
We are gonna go cheap and end up with him as our big signing for an attacking player lol. Which I’m gonna go on the record as being in favor of instead of overpaying for some shit English player. I just hope we get a legit manager who will make all our young players live up to their potential and coach them up properly as opposed to the ALS football arteta serves up, fucking dirt pounder

Maddison, he’s not shit per se, but he will be shit here under Arteta. Wasting 70m on an attacking player under Arteta is as good as just flushing it down the toilet tbh.

Yeah just like I told ya last season was a throw away and Arteta, regardless of how shit he was, would survive it. This year again is a throw away year that will have to be salvaged come winter time. Got nothing to do with me and everything to do with the dirt pounder we got managing the club so ripppp

The guy was linked with Barca and Madrid a year or two ago. I’m as optimistic as they come but there is no chance he agrees to a deal if we paid Inter what they ask.

Yea the mods at the club’s official accounts will definitely turn the comments off when they announce Xhaka’s extension. Really disappointed if he stays. It limits our potential to evolve the system.
