It is inevitable.
People currently tell me Xhaka is the best midfielder at the club, which I donāt find to be that reassuring.

If we bought him, our best players in the positions of CB, CM and attacking midfielder would be Luiz, Jorginho and Willian, who are all Chelsea rejects.
It makes you proud to support our club.
Be intriged to see a @SRCJJ verdict of Jorginho from his Serie A days. If I remember correctly there was a lot of demand for him before he left Napoli and Chelsea palmed off the likes of City to secure him.
I think Jorginho would do very well here, Iād just hate to see that move mean Chelsea sign Partey.
Iād be happy with midfield options of Xhaka, Aouar, Ceballos, Jorginho, but Iām under no illusions that this wonāt happen

We canāt sign anyone until we shift another player. Your only allowed to register 17 homegrown players, we have 17 now Torreira is gone:
Arsenal, then, have 18 non Homegrown players over the age of 21: Leno, Tierney, Sokratis, Gabriel, Ceballos, Lacazette, Ćzil, Willian, Aubameyang, CĆ©dric, PĆ©pĆ©, Mustafi, Pablo Mari, David Luiz, Elneny, Kolasinac, and Xhaka.

Iād settle for either.
The advantage Jorghino has, is that he is experienced in the PL, at a decent level but Partey seems like the sort of player we need.
I donāt mind Jorginho or Partey but getting no one would be unacceptable.
He looks pretty good when he plays for Italy but again itās the midfielders heās flanked by and this helps him a lot.
Iād be extremely concerned if our only midfield addition was Jorginho but he is better than Xhaka at least.

Jorginho would be such a damp squid of a signing and another āChelsea cast offā, I havenāt been that overly impressed by him at Chelsea and it just doesnāt feel like a signing that take us to the next level. Feels like a stop gap and cheap signing. Iām not big on it as some are on here. If heās that great, why are Chelsea letting him go.
If thatās the only signing we make on Monday, weāre not getting top 4 imo. Does anyone really think Jorginho alone will make us a better side and take us to the next level?

They did just sign a Black keeper. Just shows you that Kepa is so terrible Frank was willing to put his issues with Black players aside.

Itās starting to look there wonāt be anymore signings this window, which is a very depressing thought. I know there are a couple of more days to go but the signs arenāt looking good.
If we end up with the current squad for the rest of this season, top 4 is out of the question.
