He’s really not. This team doesn’t create anything with Xhaka as it’s vocal point in midfield. It’s a misguided premise that he moves the needle, not even a little. He’s as shit, if not more, than the other midfield options.

Thing is you never what a manager could get out of a player, Poch made him a world beater for a season or so, Arteta is from the same school. Maybe new surroundings, a much better club, and Arteta could get him back to we’re getting could be. No harm in trying at this point.

We have a 22 year old player just sitting there who is statistically every bit as good a passer as Xhaka plus miles better as a progressive ball carrier. TWENTY FUCKING TWO, who would only become even better not even in his fucking prime. Arteta is too stubborn and it’s gonna cost him his job. I mean maybe not his job because we are a shit run football club that won’t sack him and are very easily manipulated but it’s gonna cost us good football and a CL spot.
As much as I despise Levy, there is no way he would sell or loan a decent player to us.
He is a spurs supporter and he hates us.
It would be the equivalent of us selling a great player like RVP, Cole, Nasri etc, to a direct rival and then they go on to win trophies with them…oh wait.
I don’t want Alli anyway.
He and Lingard are the two most irritating players in the PL.
