Arsenal transfers 25/26

Indykaila knows fuck all.

He’ll claim credit for calling it when we sell Holding in three weeks.

Hahahah.

He doesn’t.

Xhaka, Bellerin and Lacazette. Even though I’d want them all three gone I would be suprised if they actually leave. You never know if some club makes an offer for Tierney.

Tierney would legitimately be devastating to be fair.

It’s indykaila so he definitely doesn’t know

My rank of who I’d like to see leave that could be constituted as a shock transfer out:

  1. Xhaka
  2. Bellerin
  3. Lacazette

Honestly I’m softening to Laca. Quite like his personality and as long as he’s not our main goal threat he’s pretty useful. Sure he doesn’t score a ton of goals but he does get plenty of assists. As long as we have Auba im okay with Laca staying but if he fetches a nice fee he can leave.

He’s never gotten anything right

Where would we be without those 4 assists, I dread to think

I’m not gonna judge anyone off their stats this year because we were so dysfunctional. I think the past few seasons tho he had 20+ assists for us, did he not?

Edit: 25 assists in 3 season all comps. Not terribly bad. Don’t get me wrong we absolutely wasted 50m on him because he’s not a top class goal scorer but as a backup I don’t mind him at all, money’s already gone now lmao.

Laca’s a much better player than he shows here, he should move on and find his feet somewhere else. Perhaps when Arteta steadies the ship he’ll find his goal return but I don’t think I would be sad to see Laca go this summer which says it all really.

I do love how he’s one of those players though than can rip the net ala Podolski.

Where are you getting these stats from? I never counted all comps. His creative abilities are so overrated, he doesn’t rate highly in either key passes or assists

The “dysfunctional” 11 line doesn’t work either considering he’s been occupying his ideal position in the CF spot the last 2 seasons.

Of course it does. Just look at Lukaku for example. 16 and 12 goals at dysfuntional United, 20+ at Inter.

For the record I don’t think Lacazette should stay either, but don’t really agree with this argument ;).

The argument doesn’t apply when we’ve actually given him a role which matches his talents. His performances over the last two season is the extent of his abilities at this club. We haven’t asked him to be a goal minded prolific scorer since Emery

Even under Arteta he was nothing but slightly above average in the “deeper” CF role

If keeping Ceballos is the only midfield move we can make, honestly I’d take it just because he is that important to keep a hold of. Nothing new out there for us is worth losing him or Auba right now.

17 goals and 5 assists under Arsene in 17/18 all comps and he was injured for a good chunk of the 2nd half of the year. Arsene clearly was up to his voodoo of making guys play a level or two above what they are. A full season under Emery he had 19 goals and 13 assists all comps. We do play in 3 pretty important competitions, so whatever Laca can contribute in the FA Cup in early rounds and EL group stages ect is definitely helpful to keep Auba healthy and fresh for the PL and later rounds of the EL/FA Cup. I do see a lot of value in that. I’ve always contended that we paid way over the odds for what he is, but that’s water under the bridge.

Apparently Kovac wants Keita Baldé gone from Monaco. Would have taken a flyer on him, especially if Monaco want to sell. Always thought there was a really good player in there.

Worth a try.

So that’s Grealish(don’t forget the early report that we have enquired about him) and Aouar confirmed as players we’re interested as creative midfielders.

Darn would have been a great deal.

Turning out alot of clubs don’t actually rate Guendouzi
