xA/xG assisted > chances created/key passes, since that stat tells you nothing about the quality of the chances created.
Grealish xA is 0.19 per 90 and that’s not really the stats of an elite chance creator. De Bruyne for example, is on 0.59.
I do think he’d be a good inside-winger for Arsenal though, but the price is getting a bit too ridiculous now.

Maybe in the sense that it’s usually more difficult to create chances for fun when you’re not playing in a team that’s quite as dominant as the top teams. However, he didn’t really create that many good chances when Villa were in the championship either.
His teammate, Conor Hourihane, is on 0.31.

I think Grealish is going to end up in the same position Zaha is. The selling club will set such a ridiculous price which nobody will meet.
I’m not even sure where Grealish would go in the top six right now.
I’ll admit that I won’t really feel good about this summer until Willian signs somewhere else. The longer the links keep surfacing in the media the more nervous I get. I see him as basically a litmus test of whether Raul is going to actually start rebuilding the roster or just continue fucking around.
