Iâve said that because of his Natâl team. They arenât very good and Auba doesnât have the mileage on his body like a ânormalâ 31 year old superstar that plays deep into various intâl tournaments over the last several years.
Also, his injury history is very good.
While he certainly isnât a physical freak like Ronaldo, I think that he has plenty left as in 2 or 3 seasons of being one of the top strikers in the league.
He would be a calculated risk to keep if he doesnât renew because his goals might be what gets Arsenal back into the CL with the additional $$$ and prestige for recruiting new players. In that sense, it might be worth it rather than accepting a fee that isnât much higher than what CL qualification would pay the club.
