I agree with the recent sentiment in this thread, the season is dead enough that some January signing isn’t going to push us over the edge into Champions League qualification.
As far as signings go I only want players the club sees as quality longterm sustainable footballers, if we can’t get any this Jan so be it. Last thing we need is more squad cloggers we want to rid in 12-18 months.

Yeah, that’s the thing with the January transfer window. Signings are often out of desperation and therefore probably not great value. The best players don’t generally move clubs mid season. Obviously there are exceptions, but would still rather wait until the summer when more players will be available, plus Arteta would have had some time to fully establish what he wants/needs.

I’m ok with this scenario.
I think he’s an excellent player but I haven’t seen anything to warrant expending major cash on him next summer. We really need to increase the technical level of our midfield if we’re losing either Xhaka or Ceballos at the same time potentially

Honestly them two half time substitutions are something I’ll never forget.
He is unbelievably bad and outshines all that went before him in obscurity. Guys chronic.
I dont think mavropanos has anything special about him but hes less than ten appearances in an Arsenal shirt so its hard to tell anything much about him. I’d hope either of them would only be coming in as near last option cover and on that basis if we get a decent offer for mustafi we simply have to sell.
Agree to a sale of Mustafi but I’d want cover because I really don’t want that clown being cover.
One red card and two substitutions at half time in that small a bite size spells liability for me.
