He was better than Martinelli last season.
He is not just a pace merchant. The dude can actually dribble with a purpose.
He may not have had a great season but ability wise he certainly showed more than Martinelli in last 2 seasons.
You only need to look at 2 games he played against Arsenal where him and Isak ripped Arsenal apart.

He was poor and it was a step down from the season previously
He is definitely a pace merchant and Martinelli slightly edges him out in succesful take ons and progressive carries statistically

What you need to do is properly respond to the evidence I provided especially as it disproves your assertion that Gordon is a better dribbler rather than a feeble attempt to brush it off and go down an irrelevant rabbit hole.
I don’t really find stats reliable and I can’t explain how my eye test considers Gordon to be the better player.
It’s subjective until one overtakes the other. So let’s wait for that
I firmly believe Gordon will be twice the player Martinelli in coming seasons.
No worries, I think there’s more of a chance of Newcastle needing to upgrade on him in the near future than him actually becoming a top player just like with Martinelli
