Arsenal transfers 25/26

Used to be, maybe. Then you gave up.

The simple equation in my view here is that that is two potential game changers instead of one.

Gyokeres and Williams

Not gonna, lie I wasn’t expecting these results so far:

I guess people are more concerned with quantity given the our recent injury woes.

True. I’ve got my doubts over Sesko being a game changer at this point but at the same time I wouldn’t be shocked if he does turn out to be one in our system, certainly favours a player with his physical profile.

That’s quite a scary list of players we’re losing there.

One injury on Isak and we are cooked.

Out

Tierney
Zinchenko
Jorginho
Trossard
Nelson
Neto
Viera

Keep

Partey
Martinelli
Havertz
Kiwior
Possibly Trossard and Jesus.

Buy

Striker: Isaak/Sesko/Gykores/Cunha

LW: Williams/Lookman/Wirtz/Kvaratskhelia.

Cover for Raya.

It’s unlikely we’ll have a net spend of much more than 100m so with the sale of a few surplus players, we should be able to do that and maybe some squad fillers.

These poll results are criminal. Arsenal fans have an illness which means they forever want to be 2/3 years away from getting to the top.

No way we can all say for the past couple years ā€œwe lack game breaking truly elite talents that city, liverpool, munich, madrid haveā€

Then vote to sign two youngsters who have mediocre output for small clubs where its not even clear if or when they come in to our starting 11 or how long it will take them to actually develop into the players we need them to be.

Over a player whose looking like one of the best in the world in his position who definitively solves our biggest issue.

You all need help.

Kai can step in for him

Yep.

Sesko is way too overhyped and too expensive for what he has for offer atm. He might explode but atm he’s probably worth a 50M punt or something. If they want around 60-70M or more, as it’s being suggested, going big on Gyokeres (who is a bit overpriced too) makes much more sense.

Btw only now realised his stats this season are even better than last year lol. Get that guy!

Fucking hell mate.

I need to take a closer look at Ekitike and so should we

Could be a potential Isak-esque player who’s awaiting a breakout

Also may turn out to be a better player than Sesko long term too

Gyƶkeres my boy though, that’s my 1st choice every time

Isak alone won’t fix our issue of right side bias & lack of creativity. Teams will continue to shut down our right side and nullify our attack.
We are not winning the title with Isak as sole addition to our attack.

Isaak might be on of the best strikers in Europe but every other top club that needs a goal scorer will be after him which will push the price up to around 150m.

Also, Newcastle are building a squad to challenge for the title, not dismantling it by selling their best player and they certainly don’t need the money

It would be a great signing but would still leave us short in attack and will cost most of our budget so it’s probably better to get Gyokeres and a LW like Lookman for about the same money.

Don’t over complicate or think too much Trion. Our biggest issue is we don’t have a consistent natural goal scorer in our squad. Don’t try and solve the issue by signing young players from different leagues with average output.

I promise you Martinelli Trossard, Jesus even Saka would all look better playing in and around Isak. Just look at how average he’s made Saliba and even Van Dijk look this season

That’s fine and all, but how would Nico and Sesko fix that?

Those are your suggestions, not mine

Sorry, that is as big of a gamble as not signing a CF
I am not expecting shit if Martinelli & Trossard are our options again.

Neither are mine, but what would your choices be for LW and/or ST to solve those problems?
