Arsenal transfers 25/26

Damn, you’re right… meh… he has impressed me and would help us on the wings (we are hopeless there), but tend to agree… would be a bit underwhelming. Reality is, our transfer funds will only take us so far unless we seriously augment with departures (which we might).

I’d definitely prefer Duane Dibbley over Fraser.

Recent results makes me think even a CM is higher priority than a Winger, so I wouldn’t be against using Nelson and Saka there.

We have to go big on CB, LB, RB and CM first imo

A lot of needs - I wouldn’t be against that approach, but I reckon it would more likely mean more of Iwobi, Auba, and Ozil on the wings… with the occasional ESR and/or Nelson.

Pin this post: someone will buy a midtable player as Fraser much more than samone will pay for a wonderkid and UCL semifinalist as Neres.

How much do you think Neres will go for after getting to CL semis and perhaps final?

I have watched VERY little Ajax, so have no idea, but I’ll take ANY of their f*ing players if we can get them :santi:

The problem is it’s impossible for arsenal fans to evaluate a winger, especially a player we see often in the PL. Our full backs get skinned so often we made guys like Jefferson Montero look like prime Messi.

Taking inspiration from Liverpool here who have for years stripped and plundered the bottom of the Premier League for players.

Ayoze Perez - He has 11 goals this season in an average Newcastle side. Season prior he had 8. Fella is a certified baller. Off the ball he plays with intensity which is exactly the type of character we need.

Wilfred Zaha - Expensive but direct dribbling with speed is something that we’ve missed. Can score and can win penalties for fun. Lacazette will be converting 10 penalties a season in no time like Milivojevic. Also fun. We need fun at Arsenal. Buy fun players.

Richarlison - Probably too expensive but soon to be a top forward. Superb aerially, strong and young. We need young players.

Tierney - Celtic are essential a crappy mid-table side…no…whatever. Imagine having a left back who can defend. Step forward Tierney.

Centre back with ‘pace and power’. I’m open to suggestions

Centre midfielder also with ‘pace and power’. Ndidi

Tierney is there to be had.

But we’re not a serious club so he will go to Spurs or something.

Can’t comment much on players outside the Pl, but outta PL players I’ve always wanted Zaha here. Would bring us up a level and a real exciting player to watch💥

Everyone one of those players are eminently gettable and would add something Arsenal sorely need to become a serious team again.

Will we get any of them? Absolutely not.

Love Tierney… Perez is a sneaky interesting pick - underrated… Zaha will be too expensive I reckon and I’m not sold on Richarlison.

Tierney is the only one I would back as obvious, but I’d be interested in hearing more on Perez for those who have watched more of him.

Can’t wait for Auba to step up his wasted sitters ratio once Fraser comes and serves him tap-ins.

Perez is a discount Firminio, he’s had a good season considering where he’s playing.

Seeing some Ayoze Perez love here in 2019. We’ve got some good eyes in the forum. Good little CF, always a bother for defences. Not a prolific scorer but gets the job done. Said it before, working on your finishing is one of the easiest departments to grow in football. You just need hunger for work and good trainers around you. There’s a reason scouting teams are all over forwards and midfielders with high xG stats.

Well he’s a winger who puts in crosses and cut backs so yes I’d say so. We lack width aside from our wingbacks so he’d provide that also. He also gets his head up well and picks a pass or cross. He can also naturally plays as a left winger who can cross and create and that’s something we’re seriously lacking. Tons of energy too. Plus we might be able to bench that cunt Iwobi.

Not a world beater but he’d improve us.

I think that would only be likely if we win the EL.

Raiding PSG for some of their leftovers probably wouldn’ be the worst idea. You’ve only got to look at the impact that Lucas Moura and to a lesser extent Serge Aurier on Tottenham to see PSG have quality players in reserve.

I’ve always had a thing for Draxler. I wonder if you could convert him into a central midfielder and get decent numbers from him. Something about his style draws me.

If it’s true United are in for him we won’t get him. Would be a cracking signing you could build your team around.
