Doesnât excel at anything, doesnât really have a standard position, is a low motor player, so so athlete and also doesnât seem to have any killer instinct.
Plus heâs already flopped at one other top club, red flags galore.
Not a fan of the guy at all, called him flopping at Chelsea.
However, something has to be there for Bayern, Madrid and Arsenal to hold an interest in him, despite how underwhelming he turned out for Chelsea.
He has a bit of the Joao Felix problem. There is obviously talent there and at the right price it would be an intriguing gamble to try to unlock it. But youâre unlikely to get the right price because he already sold for a big fee and is already on really big wages.
Thatâs also three very different type of managers.
I would be interested in seeing how heâd play as one of the attacking 8s/the Xhaka position.
I trust Arteta to get a lot out of a player but Jesus Christ fuck having this walking dud at the club
For what is worth, the Bayern interest appears to have cooled off. It was under Nagelsmann and Salihamidzic that the interest was initially reported, and it did look like the likeliest destination until Tuchel came and wanted a big #9.
Whether thatâs purely because he doesnât fit that profile or Tuchel(who worked with him) doesnât think heâs all that, I dunnoâŚ
Like top clubs donât screw up.
They do, there isnât really top club out there that hasnât got it completely wrong on someone. However, they have the experts and they should be best equipped to judge a player.
Ramsdale was considered a shitter when Arsenal wanted him and we got laughed at by everyone, from the media(which included former players) and fans.
Nobody knew that he was this good with his feet, there was little to suggest that from his appearances for Bournemouth and Sheffield United.
Two years later, he is ranked the most valuable goalkeeper in the world.
On Havertz, Iâm not convinced, never was, however, it is interesting that he still has his admirers out there despite not really performing at a level to justify it.
Fair on Ramsdale but just think there are some fundamental issues with him similar to those with Pepe in terms of the mental aspect and low motor and physically it doesnât pop on the screen, there is some talent I suppose but I donât see him as someone able to harness it consistently at least not in a league like the PL.
Heâs Bundesliga proven which doesnât really mean much these days, considering the cost I donât think it would be a worthwhile investment. There is better value to be had out there.
By some anonymous cunts with a website and a verified twitter account.
This is a classic Edu move btw. Talk to the agents and then engage the club after. Obviously worked to our disadvantage in the Mudryk pursuit. I doubt Brighton were too happy with that approach when going after Caciedo either.

Would love him here. Class player.
Absolutely not to Havertz, not like Chelsea will let him go cheap either.
Very interesting, very intriguing.
This has come from left field, and I think if this was to gain legs and he joined I think he would be a Odegaard type role player, behind the striker pulling the strings.
Clearly a talented player, maybe hasnât been used in the right way in the past.
Isnât that basically the standard approach to transfers these days? I feel like I regularly read shit about clubs squaring everything with a player, then needing to negotiate with the club. Obviously I canât say if itâs true, but pretty sure I read that about Man U and Mount just the other day, for example.
I thought most clubs spoke to the player (/their reps) first, instead wasting a ton of time negotiating with a club only to agree a deal and then find out that the player isnt interested/has excessive demands you canât afford etc.
Actually:
A study has valued the 25-year-old at ÂŁ67.6million
Aaron Ramsdale is the worldâs most valuable goalkeeper, according to the well-respected CIES Football Observator.
Established in 1995 and jointly owned by FIFA, the Swiss city of Neuchatel, and the University of Neuchatel, CIES (The International Centre for Sports Studies) is an independent research initiative which produces statistical studies on football.
To a certain extent, yes. But for whatever reason this agent centric approach didnât sit right with Shakhtar or Brighton. I think it both cases it felt like Arsenal went behind their backs to unsettle the player.
Shakhtar were far more receptive to Chelseaâs approach. Maybe itâs because they put up the money, but they went above and beyond to compliment Chelsea after the deal had been completed.
More an observation rather than a criticism.
