Arsenal transfers 25/26

Any 2 of Rice, Caicedo & Gundogan is what we require as bare minimum to finish in the top 2 again next season; maybe even enough to win the league.

Let’s see how serious the Kronke’s are…

They’re probably just guessing but apparently this is the biggest Ecuadorian sports media source and they say Caicedo’s decision is close. A few days ago they said he preferred us due to CL football and a better project but Chelsea was offering more money, which anybody could have reasoned out but whatever.

Chelsea: slightly more money, fewer games, at least 2 new managers per season, none of that irksome European travel, the chance to play several games per season in front of nearly-packed stands in London’s 6th largest stadium for the capital’s 6th best and west London’s 3rd best team.

Why would he sign for Arsenal?

We aren’t signing Caicedo.

Lokonga back ‘like a new signing’.

I would genuinely worry for @Stroller if at any point next season we run out a Lokonga-Vieira midfield.

I would pray for the opposition be Stoke if this ever happens.

Server would fucking implode

With Rob Holding at CB too!

Lokonga and Vieira are the midfield equivalent of Luzhny and Stepanovs. :grinning:

We’ve had some really shit players over the years haven’t we! Makes our current squad so impressive…hopefully it will only get stronger during the summer.

How can he play for us and a Saudi team at the same time?

If that was true then we would get a massive transfer fee!

Lmao, Sanabria!

I assume people remember us getting linked with him all the time when he was a youngster.

Tidy player but doesn’t really move the needle. Would basically be like signing a Trossard level talent.

A Trossard level signing at CF would be ok in my book if we could get a full season out of Jesus. Though that’s a pretty big ask.

Is this guy going to feature ahead of Nketiah or Trossard in the 9 role?

On one hand we do need support there but on the other I don’t want to stock pile average to good CFs

From what I gather, Arteta likes the look of Kai Harvetz and is a fan. Potential target

I actually find this a very interesting prospect. He’s not someone that naturally fits but there’s something intriguing about him.
I could see why a technical coach like Arteta would be interested tbh.
