Baku - I remember this guy from an u-21 tournament. Stood out to me in that Germany team along with Tah, Nmecha and Dorsch. Quick, strong, good dribbler (think micah Richards when he first came on the scene) Can also play as a RM. I seem to remember questions over his defensive capabilities though. However, I haven’t heard or seen anything from him since. Could be the whole package now?

I do not want another complacent 30+ player (read Willian) that’s soon over the hill. Jorginho was different, we needed a January signing in that position. I believe we can and should do better.

Not arguing in favour of the signing, but I can’t imagine Kante being complacent, or anything less than motivated and fully professional.
