Arsenal transfers 25/26

Completely forgot about Lichtensteiner, fuck me he was shit.

Kante still has it but not sure how to feel about a move for him.

A few smart free transfers might open up opportunities for two big splashes but an injury ridden Kante on a high-salary might not be the way to go.

I’d rather Kante on a free than Tielemans on a free, I’ll tell you that but it would have to be Kante plus a big money move for a Rice, Bellingham, Caicedo, Gavi or DeJong level player.

AMN, Lokonga and Azeez out to make room for Kante is actually good business.

I largely agree but imagine adding a winner and relentless worker like Kante into this group to add to Jorginho, Zinny and Jesus.

Kante probably has got another 2 seasons of top football in him. So if we can get him on a good deal contract, I wouldn’t be opposed at all

If we sign him I hope I’m wrong.

So many available cms this summer that there is literally no excuse for not driving up the level of our midfield options.

Rice, Bellingham, Caicedo, Mac Allister, Kessie, Gundagon, Tielemans, Neves, Lavia, Paulinha, SMS and I’m probably missing loads of other options.

Wasn’t it his agent saying Arsenal showed interest or something?

Anyway, I think he also said he expects Kante to continue at Chelsea.

If Kante shows a good level he’ll be staying at Chelsea and if he doesn’t or gets injured again why the hell would we want him anyway.

Kante ship has sailed, wouldn’t be interested in signing him.

High wages and injury prone. It’s a no from me

Says nearly as much about Kante’ terrible injury record as it does about the shit show they’re running over there.

We won’t be signing him.

I’m intrigued.

No idea who the source is

We’ve still got people who believe in Pepe loool

Pepe is finished here. Olise is talented. I don’t see why we’d invest in him though when we have ESR.

Personally I’m sold on Olise. Bring him home.

Olise is quality but usually looks like he only gives half a fuck at most.

Nobody perfect is going to come here and back up Saka so maybe that is a fine compromise. But I would wonder a little bit about his fit within the team culture.

It’s a no for me on Olise quite a good young player but poses very little goal threat and he is one of those low intensity players, very different player to Saka and Martinelli.

One of them players you think of when they are on TV and one you instantly forget an hour in.

Him and Benjamin White would give some epic interviews:

Interviewer : How does it feel to win five nil at the Camp Nou?

Olise: Good win.

Interviewer: What about you Benjamin?

White: Yeah, the lads did okay. We play again on Saturday.

Not sold from what I’ve seen. Very passive player. Does a nice thing here and there and then nothing.

Olise has potential, but at a price. Save money and keep the wingers that have played this season. They’re not all world class but they seem to be happy and chipping in.

Agreeing with @darkseid on kante. I would have welcomed him over jorginho in Jan, but ā€˜that ship has sailed’ - well put.

Olise has the talent but not the mentality. It’s been an issue so far in his career and from what we’ve seen Arteta doesn’t have too much patience for these type of players.
Anyone, the source is the same that links us to someone different every week.
