Reckon you may find some stuff in his thread.
But anyway, it’s a topic beaten to death. It’s been two years now. Time to move on, lol.

would rather sign arthur weasley
We haven’t even announced Zinchenko and we will likely only add one or two more players between now and close of the window. I think the focus between now and Palace will be offloading players where we can
I agree!
Focus has shifted to getting rid of players now
I’d take 105 year old Arthur Blank (owner of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United) over that joker.
I agree.
Although we’ve bought some decent players there are still positions, after several seasons, that need filling.
Unless all the rumours about Raphinha weren’t true, then surely we must be after a top quality winger or at least a competent CM.
If our transfer business is over for this window, it would be adequate, rather than exciting.
If you ask me if this is a good window or not, only getting Jesus, Vieira, Zinchenko (and Marquinhos) is bare minimum to get us a fight for top 4; considering Saliba like a new signing, and the young core group is going to improve significantly.
However, I am not happy that we just stop here and not able to get one more or two.
We will be back to ground zero if any shit happen to Jesus. Martinelli/ESR/Vieira-Eddie-Saka to lead the line is not enough; and we know how fragile Partey is.
The window hasn’t closed yet, so have some patience. I think the club have done some great business so far, and as you say Saliba is like a new signing as well coming into the squad fresh. I am convinced that we aren’t done yet and will hopefully make a couple of further additions. Had we been successful for Raphinha I’m pretty sure he would have also been in the squad now. We also need to get some players out so lots of work to be done, but the club have clearly focused on incomings rather than outgoings to ensure Arteta has the core group of players ready for the start of the season.
sure the window is not yet closed, and let’s wait and see.
my comment was just for status for today.
I don’t think the issue now is that we have no more transfer funds as much as we need to reduce the wage bill and numbers. It’ll happen slowly over the coming month but for now we have to make some space.
But if Man Utd or Spurs suddenly bid for one of our two remaining targets, we’ll move fast.
Again the outgoings are likely an issue because we give dross footballers decent wages, we really need to stop doing this.
That is a totally reasonable position to have and wholly incompatible with modern football support.
Wont find a set of fans in the country who are happy right now.
We’re grumpy, we’re grumpy, we’re grumpy and that’s the way we like it, we like it, we like it. Get that chant going all over the football world.
Apart from Dortmund.
I wonder if Leicester will actually buy anyone.
Massive mistake if they dont.
If our window ends with no more signings I’ll give it a 6/10.
Basically to move up into the top 3 or 4 it would be relying on Martinelli going about 2 levels and Partey actually playing close to 38 games.
Even Dortmund fans are grumpy!
Haller just got diagnosed with testicular cancer and some folks on their subreddit were like “Oh well that’s just great isn’t it.”
