With 27 points after 10 games we have already managed to accrue 40% of last seasons entire points total.

Insane how much improved we are from last season.

Im not discussing the title, top 4 is our aim for me, but with these stats that keep appearing if we want to go for it then we need to buy in Jan and strengthen because we cant keep using the same players for EL and the game at the weekend in the PL for another 10 months.

Versus. How many games?

The RVP number is particularly impressive because I know the amount of games he played couldn’t have been too many

An unlikely top 3 haha (obviously sheer numbers of games played comes into the equation but still)

Laca was a big game player tbf

I’m not too surprised to see Theo or Laca high up, as I remember them often scoring in our bigger games.

For RVP, I think he had a few braces /hattrick (that 5-3 win over Chelsea sticks in the mind, and Theo also loved scoring against Chelsea)

Yeah probably wouldn’t have been much more than 15 games for RVP.

I really thought Nordtveit played for us. Must have just been when I was the kind of loser that would watch the reserves occasionally.

We’ve got 32 goal contributions so far this season from Jesus, Martinelli, Saka and Odegaard after 12 games. Very productive and well spread out.

The best part for me is that I no longer feel like we are reliant on any one player to produce the numbers for us and that’s a great feeling

And if you eliminate Odegaard from those numbers we’re sitting at 26 goal contributions in 12 games which means the front 3 are contribution to at least a shade over 2 goals per game.

Huge improvements across the board. We’ve come a long way from being reliant on Auba to produce and overly reliant on Saka.

I saw a stat the other day on Twitter, it was a comparison about all the teams in history who have had this amount of points after this point in the season, only 1 of them in approx 10-12 seasons have gone on NOT to win the league.

Makes you think what an unbelievable start we have made. Completely out of the blue and unexpected.
