I’d like to see him in the Championship next year if we can find a good loan. I don’t see him being ready for a PL side.
I respectfully disagree with this tweet. He’s scored 9 career goals , mostly in Scotland, and has never played a game at a particularly high level.
A lot of us would be very concerned at dropping 60m on someone with that profile.
Perhaps he will explode, but he hasn’t yet.
Sure, let’s hype up a 10 year old. Great plan.
Fucking hell lol
Lad scored a scorpion kick, purchased my ticket for the hype train with no hesitation.
If Mikel doesn’t give him any minutes this season it’ll confirm that he has an issue with youth.
This 10 year old will save football.
Ok thats some crazy skills for a grasshopper, imagine 10 years from now with this lad playing besides Obi-Martin.
Next game we go 2 goals ahead in, the match thread will be nothing but “bring on Shak”
Hojlund played for Sturm Graz when he started making waves.
Bierith = Hojlund 2.0 confirmed
Bierith is half Danish as well so maybe my dream will finally come true

Foggin standards guyz.
that’s why it is not always right to throw the kids into senior games, the adult games, unless they are really ready.
Biereth has 4 goals in 6 games with Sturm, they’ll aurely be saying Grazias to us for the loan.
MLS with a really impressive match clip here against Spurs, who are top of the U21 table.

I would really like to see him get a loan somewhere next year. Not sure how much more he can learn at U21 level but pathways into first team minutes as a 6 are going to be really difficult, probably more so than for Nwaneri.
He won’t turn 18 until late September so there may be some special considerations involved but my understanding is that loans can still be arranged for players that age. Maybe a London-area Championship or League 1 club.
Maybe he doesnt need a loan…i mean Saka hit the 1st team around his age and some people thought that was a damn stupid decision, now look at him.
We were shit then though so playing Europa League and not treating every PL match like a must win.
I think it’ll be very hard for a player like MLS to break into the current team unless he gets a lot of experience with senior football elsewhere. Look how difficult it has been for players like ESR and Vieira to win Arteta’s trust.
good points. I think he could do a job though. I mean why not give him some minutes in the 1st team when the game is won and slowly get him into the swing of things. Same should be done with Nwaneri.
8 goals in 11 games for Mika Biereth now.
11 goals and 6 assists across 22 games for Motherwell and Sturm Graz.
Could be an interesting talent but hard to see a route through for him.
he is a 6’3" big kid, and I am wondering why we don’t give him a chance.
