Arsenal Kits and Merch

Yep bought my one as well, got both the authentic and standard edition. Last authentic one I bought was slightly longer at the bottom which I wasn’t really a fan of. Had to get a size down on the standard one to get that tight fit so will see how that pans out.

Will leave a review of the top soon as I get it, can say now though aesthetically it’s looking like a classic, will have to see the material though and stitching first before it can fully get that status.

It’s very nice tbf, will probably get mine on payday. Half tempted to get Saka 7

Me, yesterday: this bunch of useless bastards running our club are taking us all for mugs and I cba with another season of this shit.

Me, today: ooh new shirt released!

This is brilliant. They even had Partey brushing his teeth.

We are shit at everything apart from advertising our clothing. That video was elite.

We really should just become a brand at this point

Makes you wonder how good things could be if we had halfway competent people on the football side.

If I was a football player I’d honestly just say “sorry boys, I’m not doing this. Just take a picture of me with the kit on”.

He looks so awkward lol

He’s a proper Arsenal fan, getting excited about the only thing Arsenal fans can ever get excited about :ozil:

Also, if anyone sees our Marble Tampon kit go on sale from last season hit me up, quite keen to pick that up for around £40-45 if it gets that low at some point

Quite possibly a fake but if it’s anything like my two fake Italy shirts at a similar price, you won’t be able to tell the difference.

Or this, possibly real:

Of course you bloody Kensington tits don’t think to check eBay :fishing_pole_and_fish:

This is the standard price for them lol what were you expecting?

I guess I’ve been out of the kit buying game for some time. £39.99 is the default price in my head.

Unfortunately they stopped being that price a long time ago. The authentic shirts always feel a lot better too but £100 for something I’ll rarely wear isn’t justifiable lol

It does look nice though, vastly better than our home and away this season

Well Adidas test my resolve of not paying this detestable club another penny so much.

And I usually fail the test. :bellcry:

The first “authentic” shirt was the 92/94 adidas home kit, released in Nov 91 for £45. I remember David Hillier modelling it in a match programme and rushing to the club shop after a game to get it.

It was only available in XL, had long sleeves and embroidered badges/symbols. Nowadays it’s the other way round, players have the plastic badges, replicas have the proper ones.

I still have it and by some remarkable luck have grown to become an XL.

@DavidHillier was an influencer before it became mainstream

Yep, adidas need to sign him up. @DavidHillier wearing the new home shirt might make it look okay.

My wallet is here adidas, if you’re watching.
