Bruh these kits are fucking trash with the blue stripes and the numbers, ewwww. Even tho I don’t buy kits I can still appreciate the beauty of the bruised banana, or the lightning blue kits we’ve had… but this is one of the worst I’ve seen.

Is this not carrying the Fly Emirates sign?
I find the navy stripes quite jarring when the colour of the fabric beneath it on the shoulders changes from red to white. Looks real bad imo.
Looks much better on the actual home shirt where where cut the three stripes off at the point where red meets white on the shoulder

I think it could’ve been even better if they had those white panels down the side of the torso, then put blue adidas stripes on there, taking them off the shoulders. Would’ve been an even better throwback to your Dreamcast? Shirt.
No home kit for me, I got the short and long sleeve yellow tops (3 Tierney on the short-sleeve one nache)
The home kit’s blue is referencing back to the 88/90 home kit which had blue and white shorts. I have read from a decent source that the blue and white shorts were actually for an emergency third shirt that clubs used to keep. Tony Adams turned up to model the new kit and put the wrong shorts on and they stayed. We reverted to a big red panel on our shorts at the next change in 1990.
I’m not keen though, so will save my cash for the excellent bus-seat one with Smith-Rowe on the back. I still have my tattered Nike original and it nearly still fits me.
