Possibly, but most top managers have a massive ego and think they can turn any club around.
There is also the advantage of coming in to a club that are down, rather than already at the top, because there would be less pressure.
Managers like Conte, Allegri, Rodgers, Ten Hag, etc, might turn down a club like spurs but would certainly consider us an attractive proposition as we have been successful and have far more financial resources.
Meh, Conte would have had us 3rd last season if not better than United and in 2nd. With the type of money we can invest which is still more than the likes of Leicester and Tottenham ect, we should easily be up there. Just have to get smart and stop chasing shadows (over priced English players who’s teams don’t want to deal with us). We just need an actual good/smart manager who knows how to use their philosophy in building a team. Arteta has no philosophy as far as I can tell so he’s basically lost at sea at this point. He’s also a dumb fucking dirt pounder, so a bad combo tbh.
The most difficult job for Conte to handle, if he does come, is to deal with the corrupted parties in the club and the shady/not explainable transfers.
Conte wouldn’t touch this club with a ten foot pole. He walked away from Inter over transfer disputes. You think he wants to hear from Edu how we’ve identified this amazing player named Ben White that literally everyone knows about, isn’t amazing and yet we still can’t close a deal for him?
The issue with Arsenal is that we are just incredibly dumb with money. We spent 72m on a player 2 years ago and 50m on a player last year. We’ve got money to invest we are just dumb as a bag of rocks. Conte could do wonders with the money we have if he’s giving input to Edu on who we need. Edu probably only interested in shady deals for himself so yeh Conte would never be considered cuz he’d call that shit to the carpet 
It continues to amaze me that a solid majority of our fanbase and the football media in general still haven’t got the memo that our biggest problem isn’t that the Kroenke’s don’t invest. They’ve invested quite a lot in recent years, it’s just that the people they’ve hired to spend that money have been a bunch of stupid cunts.
It would be nice to have a manager who would just peel back the layers and call everyone within the club out for their incompetence for a change. But it wouldn’t last longer than a season.
