So wanted to clarify the first bit I mentioned in response to you (could’ve equally been to sham), in case people were thinking there was a suggestion that everyone must be racing to the stock market to earn millions.

If you were an American service worker, of which there are surely hundreds of thousands, it’s probably the most pressing topic the candidates could propose.
Hence ‘vote buying exercise’.
That’s why Kamala has agreed with trump on it as it’ll clearly be quite popular. The point was more about the cbs reporting

No press conferences or long form interviews from Harris yet, only agreed to one debate in early September on abc.

Have you done a search to see if they also just factually reported Trumps policy announcement when he made it?
It wouldn’t be unusual for a policy to be announced and then a day or two later for another piece like the above to appear. The Harris story contains the ‘cost’ too if you read beyond the headline.
Apparently Elon Musk’s interview with Trump was a deliciously shambolic disaster mostly due to IT issues and Trump rambling incoherently to some incredibly soft ball and rambling questions from Musk.
One day we’ll wonder how these two trust fund bros with a history of tanking their businesses were ever relevant.

Just not a great platform to host that kind of discussion. Bit surprised Trump didnt learn anything after DeSantis’ horrible rollout which he himself critiqued!
Maybe Trump peaked early because campaign he’s ruining now seems very low energy with no effect on Harris’ numbers. Maybe he’ll pick pace after the convention

I had the same thought. When they announced the interview I thought that Trump would be in the same place as Elon and the interview would be on camera. The DeSantis interview was SO bad and so buggy that I didn’t think they’d try it again.

He really is unique. He manages to have the same general awful policy positions as someone like Trump but with absolutely zero charisma.

Trump is already low key turning on Vance - he said in a recent interview that the “weird” insults are aimed at Vance and not himself
