Alexandre Lacazette

Just no new contract. I beg.

They’re going to offer him a deal. Tierney and Partey have exposed the shallowness of the squad.

Shite guys can’t jump

4 months since an open play goal now, getting absolutely wild.

He definitely holds up play.

The fella is a centre forward with 2 actual goals to his name. Supposedly in some of his best form too. Two.

With a bar that low, he’s got to be the most replaceable guy in the team.

If he was playing like a 13 goals a season striker we’d probably be walking 4th ffs :arteta:

The way people talked about his hold up play never made any sense. It wasn’t anything special it was just barely functional enough for Saka, ESR and Odegaard to work with.

It’s really going to suck seeing him captain the team away to Lega Warsaw next year.

Always drove me nuts seeing Arsenal fans cream their pants over donkey work and basic link up play.

The guy is crap

Mid 30s Giroud is better.

When we look back at why 21/22 didn’t work it won’t be because Partey and Tierney got injured it’ll be because we didn’t have a striker that could make a difference when push came to shove.

Moments like this is when you need your striker to produce game changing goals and our striker doesn’t know how to score.

I think a mid 30s Fabregas conjures up some tidy passes and 2 goals up front for us. And a beer bellied Hazard with shrunken hamstrings that misses 8 out of every 13 games.

What the guy brings as a centre forward is so replaceable it’s unreal. It’s about the only thing giving me any hope for next season. Even if the market is weak the chances we find a striker that gives us less is pretty fucking low.

Two non penalty goals. We are in April not August.

I can’t take it anymore Robbie

If we were Norwich, we would be choosing to lose him for free this summer and look elsewhere, rather than have to rely on his goals to get us out of the Championship.

Anyone want to bet me that hes gonna be back to scoring 12 to 15 league goals a year once he leaves Arsenal? I’ve never liked Laca, but he and Auba both stopped scoring goals once our current manager arrived. Im sorry to tell you all its not a coincidence.

He’s a fat old donkey who needs to be taken to a sanctuary to see out his days eating carrots.

Yeah but some MLS teams are bad enough to get rolled by a washed up husk like Laca.

He will go back to France probably. But regardless, the other phenomena that happens is Pepe scoring boat loads of goals when hes on international duty and far away from the #1 dirt pounder EU.

For all his other faults we can add hiding now. He has clearly gone missing in the last few games as the pressure has ramped up.
His true Arsenal shitness will be confimed when we get the good with the youngsters in the dressing room shout.

Yeah there’s absolutely no excuse for his complete inadequacy and invisible presence these last 5 or so games. At least with the Watford game there were key assists etc. He’s playing like absolute shit right now when the team needs him most.

Why is he still starting? Pepe, Martinelli or even possibly Nketiah could get over 5 league goals from now if they started every game. His output is horrific.
