I suppose thatās a chance of huge difficulty compared to the one ESR put on a plate for him vs Burnley.
The greatest striker in PL history used to miss plenty like those. 
Difference was that striker had multiple chances like that every game and often was the one creating them out of nowhere.

I wouldnāt say itās a sitter, but of all the chances you get outside the 6 yard box itās one of the easiest. No defenders around you, time to pick your spot and gaps either side of the goalkeeper and through his legs.
He should definitely be scoring that more than not

Edit: to be clear, I donāt want them having contract talks with him period. This is the first I heard the club were considering it. This is the same mistake the club made with Ozil and with Aubameyang. Old player who wants big money. Just let him leave. Heās obviously not good enough to take us forward and heās barely good enough to keep us treading water.

They offered him a contract before but he isnāt signing. Donāt worry.
Not holding contract talks until the end of the season seems like good news to me.
Heāll probably have a some other offers by then and weāll have laid the groundwork for other deals. If we were serious about signing him, weād be keeping up talks throughout the spring IMO.
Iāll be worried until I see him wearing a Montreal Impact jersey and waddling around MLS.
